The story

A city that went dark in a single night

“I carried what was left of its light. It wasn’t much. It would have to be enough.”

Brightholm’s great light failed, the Shades came, and the survivors fled into an endless twilight.

Aeron, a lamplighter’s apprentice, carried away the last ember in his lantern. In a forest clearing, the survivors find an old, abandoned Keep with a cold lamp still waiting at its top.

You are the Keeper. Light it, build around it, and find out why the world went dark.
